The Plastic Film Squeezer Dryer is specially designed for dewatering and densifying washed plastic films. It is widely used in PE film, PP film, agricultural film, packaging film, stretch film, and woven bag recycling lines.
Compared with traditional centrifugal dryers and hot-air drying systems, the squeezer dryer removes moisture mechanically through compression and extrusion, significantly reducing energy consumption while improving material handling efficiency.
The machine transforms loose, wet film flakes into semi-plasticized, densified material with low moisture content, making it ideal for direct feeding into pelletizing systems.
Working Principle
Washed plastic film is fed into the squeezing chamber by a screw conveyor. Through continuous compression and friction generated by the screw shaft, water is efficiently expelled from the material.
During the process, the film becomes compacted and partially densified, resulting in a higher bulk density and improved feeding performance for downstream pelletizing equipment.
